{See The Darkness In Her Eyes}
She slid it back in the hilt and looked at him questioningly. Disease? What could he mean? She wondered to herself, but dared not ask aloud, knowing it was none of her business.
She sat down and looked at him, showing interest. "It sounds interesting to me, that is of course if you don't mind." Shre figured it was gonna be a hell of a lot more interesting then her life story.
Alex stood when the timer for the oven went off, rushing to pull it out and slice it up. "He's told it to all of the guys here. Simply so we know the danger."
Sarious sighed at that. "Rather then just inhabiting by body, after so long it's kind of the opposite. I suppose the best way to describe it is that I am the disease. My body functions because it allows me to. The man who raised me said I've been reborn from death more then dozen times. The disease in me can't be destroyed as long as disease exists in the world."
Alex rolled his eyes. "He doesn't like throwing the word God around very much."
Amelia's eyes went wide. 'Reborn from death?' She asked herself. It wounded crazy and almost impossible but here this man was standing infront of her speaking it. She looked at him, then at Alex. At the mention of God, she agreed that he did indeed seem God like if he spoke the truth indeed. "Wow that's kinda scary.."
He laughed softly at that. "Being reborn from death isn't that much of a task. I've been raised around enough Gods to know it's nothing special. I haven't died in this life yet. The last time was when Angel, killed his body when I was getting to be too much to handle. Angel is the man who raised me. He killed me and had me reborn as a babe. Hoping he could teach me how to be and how to control myself better. Then again, the only real fix lately has been medication...which hardly works anyways."
Sighing softly, he looked up at her. "I never went to school or college. It was too dangerous. My disease has been bound before but not without killing me. Its kinda of being a slave I guess. I don't mind it because the disease doesn't want anything happening to me. I'm it's host body. It won't hurt Chin-Chin either for some reason. I guess it likes cats."
The cat pounced from the table and walked to her master. Who lifted her and pulled himself onto the counter again. Rubbing her head. "I feed off blood most of the time but I require a tainted life force to keep in healthy shape. That's kind of where...my job comes in."
Alex grinned from ear to ear. "Prostitute."
Amelia listened with great interest. Being a simple human, and never really leaving her house when she was younger she didn't know such people lived or were reborn. It was interesting, and she guessed that Angel too was a God of some sort. She remembered how he picked her out a tree, and wondered if it had something to do with the "disease" he spoke of. She didn't ask. She also wondered how he could seem so educated with no school. She guessed he was homeschooled and learned from life. It was amazing. She smiled at the cat, who seemed to have luck. Then confusion set in. His job, prostitute, tainted life force? She had a confused look on her face as she looked at the two of them.
