The Stranger (Me and Lien)
An angel has come to these lands, as they are one of the few remaining places that he still considers pure. He doesn't know demons occasionally lurk here, but he's hoping to help out a few of those who have been deemed worthy of it. He doesn't know much...but he learns quickly.
Sonya had started to spend her time traveling rather than at home. The young girl liked seeing the world, enjoyed taking in new places and seeing all there was. She looked human enough, despite being a demon. Her long flowing black hair was tied up as she yawned and traveled through the town in search of some local foods. The best part of traveling to her was always the variety of foods. She paused to talk with a male who was vending fresh local fruits, some of which she had never seen. Sonya talked with him about how you eat them, what part was okay to eat, and the various flavors. She purchased one of each and placed them into the wicker basket that was on her arm before turning to head over to a local restaurant. Her bright green eyes shimmered as she took a seat at the restaurant and set the basket below her chair as she looked over the menu.
J walked threw the streets slowly, looking over people softly, before he felt drawn to the restaurant. A man there was dieing of cancer, but had been praying. J touched his chest, and pulled the cancer out of him casually, not caring that he was doing it in broad daylight. The man had earned his miracle. He didn't even sense the darkness coming from the girl at the nearby table.
She watched, a bit amazed but kept quiet as she placed her menu down and watched the angelic being carefully. She leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs and watching him. She wore light blue jeans and a black tank top with a black choke lace necklace on. She wore no make up and a pair of simple onyx earrings that had been a gift from her mother. This man made her curious... she had never really seen an angel.
J looked back at her, wearing a pair of loose fitting jeans, a black t-shirt, and two necklaces. One with a pentacle, the other a garnet. He eyed her carefully before turning away, and walking slowly down the street. He had felt something off about her. What was it? It should have been so obvious, but his mind was clouded from his act of mercy and miracle.
She watched him, curious as she motioned for the water to make her order to go and paid quickly before taking it from him and turned to follow after the man she had seen. She was curious by nature... and she really wanted to see if he would do more.
J walked slowly, feeling that he was being followed. He looked back and saw the girl. "Interesting..." He whispered to himself. He was rarely followed...mostly feared. So why was she following him? Something wasn't right about this girl...
She followed after him for a bit before getting bored. "Hey you!" she called to him. Yes... tact was not something Sonya seemed to posses. "Hey I wanna talk to you!" She called to him and jogged a bit to try and catch up to him.
He stopped abruptly. "What are you." Was all he asked, one hand behind his back. If she made a hostile move...he'd cut her in two before she realized she was dead.
"That doesn't even matter... how'd ya do it? How'd ya heal that guy?" she asked as she gazed at him. She kept a two foot distance, her eyes gazing at him still as she tried to figure out how the heck he managed to heal that guy earlier.
He blinked and walked toward an alley. He had kept his wings hidden for a reason. "If you want to know, follow me."
She took a step back, her head tilting. "I don't fly.." she whispered cautiously.
He looked at her and sighed before letting his wings come out, all black, and a ominous looking scabbard at his side...he sword in his hand. "You've seen how I did it...if you tell anyone, I'll carve you in two."
"Good fucking luck with that... nagas do not hold still and my manipulation of fire will set you ablaze so fast you wouldn't even have time to shout 'Oh shit' but! don't worry i'm not going to tell anyone. So.. what are you?"
"Is it not obvious? I am an angel, young naga." He said calmly as he waved his hand and the earth creaked around her. "And I control the ground on which you stand." He said calmly as several spikes went up around her, but quickly sank back down. "You interest me...you are not afraid of me...and you do not try to kill me."
"Well I'm not stupid... I think before I attack.." she whispered and adjusted, surprised about the spikes. "Plus who knew an angel could have black wings. They're so beautiful."
He blinked at her and lowered his wings and his blade. "I used to be human...I repented my sins with my dieing breath. But because I was human...my wings would never be pure. They are only going to be black...but I have proven myself in battle for the kingdom." He said softly as he let her touch his wings.
"Battle for the kingdom? What do you mean by that?" she asked as she touched his wings tenderly.
He pointed up. "A few demons have tried to break down the pearly gates. I was one of the few who managed to fight them off."
